Creativity is elusive.

Creativity is elusive. It resides in spaces, shapes, and boxes, and just when I think I have figured it out, it moves to a place that is difficult to reach. It mocks, invites, radiates, and destroys from the core while I watch from the periphery. It disguises and tricks and leads on the voice in my head with rosy words and good deeds. It rides off towards the horizon, leaving me wondering in the dust.

And yet, the struggle is what makes the pursuit genuine.
